My Mom wanted me to wear this outfit home from the hospital.
Didn't my Dad do a good job swaddling me?
I like to smile in my sleep.
This was my first trip around the block. I love my stroller!
This is the face I make right before the crazy eating monster shows up and takes over my body. Sometimes I get mad.
And today I went to see Dr. Hutton at her office for the first time. I was pretty good, but I didn't like when they took all my clothes off and weighed me, so I got rrrreeeaaallllyyyy mad. But, obviously, Mommy didn't want to take a picture of my mad face...

Noa is here!
Noa Jane Miller was born at 10:47 p.m. on Saturday, April 26th, 2008. She weighs 9 lbs. 7 ounces and is 21 inches long. She has a lot of dark hair and chubby cheeks and really resembles my baby pictures. Everyone is doing great. We have to stay in the hospital until tomorrow night, so I don't think I can upload any pictures until after that point - just wanted to get the word out. She is beautiful!! We are truly blessed. Thank you Lord!

Come on Noa, we're ready for you!
Today, while I was babysitting down the street, Linda and Melissa came over and brought the finished baby bedding for the nursery.
I thought this was all they were doing, but when I came home, I realized they had cleaned my whole house too!
And, if that weren't enough, they brought these 2 hanging baskets, weeded the beds, and put down new pinestraw!
So, Noa, you have no excuse...we are TOTALLY ready for you...even the yard is looking good!
But wait, there's MORE! While all of that was taking place, my awesome husband helped me babysit, and my sweet neighbor Amy gave me a foot massage (to try to reduce the obvious swelling) and painted my toenails. What a day of blessing! Thanks everyone!!

I hate that I love Target
I went there tonight to return a few things. Ummm...has anyone experienced their brilliant return policy? I hate it so much that I just googled "I hate Target's return policy," and found many who have wasted their time doing the exact same thing. As I read more and more accounts of hatred, I was getting more and more worked up. I remember when we were trying to return a vaccuum that we received as a wedding gift a few years ago. For some reason, we weren't able to, and I remember leaving the store thinking it would be a great idea to throw the dang vaccuum through the glass windows and just howl like a wolf or something. That would show 'em! I'm sure they would want the vaccuum after seeing a loyal customer so distraught! But, I never tried it, and we kept the vaccuum. The memory haunts me. Anyway, tonight as I read others' stories, those same wolf-like feelings returned, so I thought I would blog-it-out. And regardless of how worked up I get, I know that I will still love Target. I will still shop there. I will still find cute shoes and cheap jewelery. I will still want what they have. And I hate that I love Target.

I need to open a Salon!
Russ and I decided we were tired of paying $40 for him to get his hair cut every 3 weeks (yes, $40 for a 5 minute haircut!!), so last month we invested in some thinning shears and this was my first attempt at cutting hair (not just HIS hair, ANY hair). I nervously chopped away (with much direction from Russ), and against all odds, I'm actually proud of how it turned out!!! Look at how cute he is! See how this cut excentuates his adam's apple? Who else could pull that off? And, if it continues to go well, I'll save us around $600 a year! Woohoo!!

Baby Showers!
Last week-end, the ladies at the church threw me a baby shower, and some of my favorite people were there...
Even my Mom (in gray) came down from Michigan to be part of the fun!
It took over an hour to open all of the wonderful gifts!
Today our friends threw us another great shower and Russ helped open all of the gifts, which cut the time in half!
We had so much fun! Thank you Jenny, Mandi, and Amanda for a wonderful morning!!!
Here's a look at some of Noa's spoils from the day. This baby girl is set! Now we just need to meet her!
