We just spent the best $25 of our lives at the second hand store. Noa has really been wanting to stand on her legs, so we thought it was time for an exersaucer. These things are so bulky and ugly, but so worth it when your arms are tired. Ours has a circus theme and plays this annoying music, but Noa loves it. She was so busy studying everything, I could hardly get her to look up for a picture.
We love to dress Noa up on Sundays. Unfortunately she usually has to be changed with-in 15 minutes of arriving at church because she has spit-up on the pretty outfit we were so excited to see. This one is from Grandma Roberts. What a cutie!
Russ and I were laughing at all the different nicknames we've given Noa in only 4 months so I thought I would share a few with you. She definitely doesn't know her name yet and it is probably because we have so many other names for her.
"Girl" - Definitely the most frequent - we say "The Girl" if we're talking about her. Actually, she might think this is her name. "Noa Needs" - In stead of Noa Jane if she's having a particularly needy day - Sometimes we shorten it to just "Needs." "Jumps" - If she is in her Jonny Jumper "Cutie Sweetie" or "Sweetie Cutie" - Interchangeable "Neck" - She has a big double chin so she's able to hide things in her neck. We find them when she takes a bath. Yep, you're reading this right... We just call her "Neck." "Cutie Cuteness" - What we should've named her instead of Noa Jane. "Hungries" - We usually say, 'Do you want to get some hungries?' or "Do you have hungries in your tummy?,' but sometimes we just call her "Hungries." "Cranks" - Another name for "Needs" "Mary Poopins" - No explanation needed "Stinky Stinks" - Again, no explanation needed
This makes me laugh! This is Noa at her best - using her superpower. A short and sweet picture of my life. She used to grunt a lot more than she does now, but she still spits up all the time. I think she was only a few weeks old here...
Last night we could tell Noa wasn't falling asleep after we put her in her crib, so I went to check on her and instead of finding her on her tummy, I found her lying on her back! We have a roller! Here's some pictures that I took a few weeks ago when she was having way too much fun in her pack-n-play. She was almost rolling over at that point, but couldn't quite do it. I still haven't witnessed a full roll, but I'm sure I will soon. Oh darn, the computer is posting these sideways again. Oh well. She's still cute - even sideways. :) Cousins! Noa looks small compared to cousin Grady who is the same age (2 days younger). What cute kiddos!!
I'm using Russ' computer right now and I just happened to find all of these pictures of Noa that I haven't seen before. So, journey with me through the last few months... I promise, I'll take new pictures soon! Look how much hair she had back then! Chinese Noa! Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. Thug Noa Woah - how did Judah get in there? (I'm just kidding...I had to give him a shout-out because he's such a cutie!)
Every once in a while, instead of giving Noa a bath, it is just easier to take her in the shower with me. She loves it! Here's some sweet little pictures. Don't worry - they're not too racey. :) Russ loves this picture that kind of happened by accident. It definitely needs to be cropped - my shoulder takes up the whole shot - but, whatever...
