So many pictures, so little time...

I have so many pictures to download from Noa's 1st Birthday and we're going out of town again tomorrow. I thought I would wait on those and let you know some other things that have been going on...

Lately, Noa's new thing has been to throw things out. It doesn't matter what it is or what it is in - she just tosses to her heart's delight. The other day I thought she was getting ready to take a nap and instead she started to get fussy after about 30 minutes of playing in her crib. No wonder she was upset! When I walked in I discovered she had thrown everything onto the floor and had nothing left to snuggle with!

And then there's the pink car. We've spent a lot of time in this car lately! Evie likes to jump in too! Evie usually takes charge in the front seat and Noa just lets her climb all over her...

Aren't these girls so sweet?!

On to Savannah...
This week-end we went to Savannah because Russ officiated a wedding there. Aunt Rachel and Murphy kept Noa on Friday night so Russ and I could spend some time together, and we had Noa on Saturday night. Russ and I had such a great time walking around Savannah and seeing the sites. The weather was beautiful!

There was even a sidewalk chalk competition going on - literally thousands of people walking around looking at all of them - they were quite incredible...

I don't know where the art stops and the kid begins... I think this was my favorite. :)

And of course, as usual, we ate and ate. We ate dinner and brunch at The Fireside Cafe and just loved sitting outside watching people walk by as we ate.

On Noa's birthday we decided to go for a swim in the hotel pool after breakfast.

Sorry Noa, you can't take Doggie with you.

There were some good moments...

And there were some not so good moments...

But all in all, I think she liked it. And I certainly thought she looked so cute in her bathing suit and cover up!

On the drive home we decided to stop at Dairy Queen! Before we gave her an ice cream cone, she had to take her medicine, which at first she had nothing to do with (about 3 weeks ago), but ever since we've been getting excited about it and calling it her "special hungries," she doesn't mind taking it at all...

After she finished that, it was on to the real "special hungries," which she couldn't get enough of!

Look how happy this girl is!

Stay tuned for party pics!!!

I'm... too sexy for these glasses...

That's definitely what Chicks thought as she was trying them on! She carried around Uncle Josh's glasses for quite some time and I'm soooo glad she' didn't break them!

After he saw how much she liked them (and how cute she looked in them), he brought her her own pair the next day. Does this girl think she's hot stuff or what??!! Okay Summer, here we come!

Yay for Spring!

Uncle Josh was nice enough to help us out with the yard work 2 full days in a row! He and Russ have been cutting beds, moving plants, digging holes, and sweating a ton trying to get our yard together. It already looks much better but there's still a ways to go. Pops came over for a whole day too. Sorry Pops, I wasn't taking pictures that day...

What have I been doing? Chasing Noa around and trying to sit as much as possible (it is hardly possible) as I'm getting bigger and bigger and my lower back is starting to feel it...

Also -- A shout out goes to Ryan and Ivana who have been much more involved in this project than I'm sure they wanted to be!

Who me?

Spaghetti? Nope. Not me.

Well...contrary to what Noa tells you, this girl has been going wild over spaghetti lately! We have had it 2 nights in a row now and while I was reheating it the 2nd night, I asked her, "Want some sketti?" and from that point on it was a whine-fest until we got her in the highchair where she shoved handful after handful in her face. Of course a bath inevitably follows, but it is almost worth it to have her totally engaged in something for like 30 minutes...

Shout out to Baby #2

We just had our ultrasound this morning and found out we'll be having another GIRL in August! Yay for girls! Here's a few photos of our sweet little girl. :) What a miracle!

She wasn't in a great position and wasn't moving around very much so it was hard for the tech to get a lot of good shots, but we were glad to see what little we could. She also kept putting her hands in front of her face...

He is Risen!

What an eventful day we had! We were out the door by 8 a.m. on our way to church and Noa was having none of it. She looked soooo sweet in her poofy dress, but she couldn't really move around in it, which definitely made her mad. She did let us get a few cute pictures though...

After we went to church and Nanny and Pappy's house for dinner, we headed home and Noa found her treat basket from Mommy and Daddy all by herself. She was most interested in shaking the Reese's Peanut Butter Egg (little does she know how yummy it is!) and I was reminded once again that you really don't need to buy these babies a bunch of new toys - they always go for the wrapping paper, or the thing that you think is the dumbest thing in there... Anyway, she carried around her egg for a while (and smooshed it) and then she was off to something else. Although I don't have a picture handy, she also received some great books from Grammy and Peter and some DVD's and Thumper from Aunt Abby. Thank you, thank you!!

We just love to celebrate what Jesus did on the cross and can't wait until our kids fully understand what took place so long ago. Thank you Father for sending us the best gift! May our lives always speak of your goodness to us...

Hmmm....

Someone figured out where all of the Cheerios were hiding...

Passover

The past few years Russ and I have had a Passover dinner and this year Noa joined us. :) Russ made the best sauce for the lamb and we kept everything else kind of simple. Unfortunately, they don't sell unlevened Cheerios...but everything else was definitely yeast free! I found these Lamb ears at the dollar store the other day and I just couldn't get over how cute she was in them! Maybe lamb ears will be a Passover tradition... Of course we know who the true Passover Lamb was and couldn't be more in awe of our deliverance during this special season.

More party pics

O.k. - I said I would post more party pictures... here's 2 more...

Look at how different these 2 are!!

Here's Noa enjoying her "Cheddar Bunnies" before we realized that she chokes on them every time she eats them. We'll have to wait a few more months... But, isn't she cute? :)

Cheerios

Even though we have to constantly make sure she's not shoveling too many in at once (I'm talking handfuls here...), we definitely don't know what we would do without Noa's favorite snack. Cheerios = Smiles!
