I was trying to check out our site tonight and forgot to add "blogspot" to the address. Check out the REAL Russ and Jackie!

Hot Stuff

Noa loves to stand while you hold her and I can tell she thinks she's a rock star. I decided to give her legs a stretch and put her in the jumper yesterday - boy did she think she was hot stuff! She couldn't quite jump yet, but I could tell she loved the independence. She got very mad at me when I took her out (after she had spit-up like 4 times!), so it looks like we'll have to work the jumper into our normal daily routine.

Time with the Papas!

Judah was always lovin' on Noa.

Judah liked Russ a lot, but I would like to think that I was his favorite. :)

Judah just couldn't keep his hands off of Noa girl - we had to watch him! How sweet!

Ybor, Florida - just outside of Tampa.

It is so beautiful to see our lives move on and change, yet stay connected. We hope they can come visit us in Charleston soon!

Fun with The Nickel Family!

We just got back from visiting some friends in Florida. First, we stopped in Orlando and hung out with Betsy, Mark, Jacob, Jenna, and Peyton. The kids just adored Noa and we had fun lounging around with them and swimming in the pool.

Jenna and Noa are twins! You wouldn't believe what went into taking this picture. We tried the first time and Noa had a spit-up/pooping spell. She pooped through her outfit AND Jenna's! So, we did the laundry and quickly took the pictures before it happened again. Thanks Jenna for being so patient!

Noa did really well in the pool! This was her 2nd time in a pool. She only lasted about 3 minutes the first time, but this time she was in there about 30 minutes and the water was cold! Look at that cute suit!

Russ and the boys became fast friends!

New Friends and Tummy Time

Noa has just started to notice her "friends" and loves to sit in her bouncy seat with them. She hits them and talks to them constantly and the blue elephant is her favorite.

Russ walked in on Noa (who was supposed to be taking a nap) having some tummy time. She never liked tummy time before, but now her arms are getting stronger, so she likes to push herself up and look around. Check out those rolls!!

Smiling with Aunt Melissa

Melissa and Noa had some quality time at Shelley's shower a few weeks ago. I absolutely love when Noa girl is in a good mood and sweet smiles come one after another...

Twice Fried Banana Spring Rolls

My sweet husband knows I like the Banana Spring Rolls at P.F. Changs (seriously...have you ever tasted anything so good?), so we tried to re-create it at Joey & Nikki's house. At first they resembled banana burritos, but after we peeled off the outer layer (we made the layers of egg roll stuff too thick), and smoked up the house again, they were pretty good. I think we still have some work to go in perfecting them, but I am so thankful for my Russ who always tries to make me happy even when I relentlessly make fun of him and tell him the "right" way to do it while I sit on the couch. :)

Grandma and Grandpa Roberts came!

Last week we were so thankful to have my parents come visit us. This was their first time seeing Noa and they immediately fell in love. :) We thought it would be a great idea for my dad to dedicate Noa on Sunday too. She did pretty good and only started to get fussy at the very end. I kept trying to reposition her, but it was really hard to grab her in the long white dress she was wearing, so I'm sure I looked like I didn't know what I was doing. Oh well. We were glad to have them come for the week-end.

All tuckered out waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to get there...

Date with Daddy

Noa and Daddy went on a date last week. (I got to tag along too for obvious reasons...). We walked around downtown for a while and then ate at T-Bonz. I had been wanting a Sign Language book for babies, so we picked one up at the bookstore and then went home. Noa was a complete angel the whole time!

Russ had a burger and I had pasta (obviously that wasn't Noa's plate). Yumm!

Of course Russ had to stop by Starbucks...

We ended up at home on the couch watching a few episodes of The West Wing (our new obsession).
