Look what I found in my sink today...

...with the water running!!
Baby's always wearing a "yarmeluke" (a.k.a. breast pad) thanks to Noa... She thinks its a hat. :)

I bake so Noa can lick the beaters...

O.k... there's probably a few other self indulgent reasons I bake, but I love watching Noa have so much fun too!  I remember doing the same thing when my mom would bake...

Noa has really  been a great helper lately!  She was helping Daddy make the bed by giving him the pillows when he needed them, and today she wanted to help me sweep the kitchen. :)

She's also going to be such a good mommy someday!  Whenever Ruthie falls asleep on the couch, I always find her covered with things Noa thinks she needs (like her water bottle, paci and a washcloth!).  Ruthie's a good sport though.  She rarely even moves when Noa violently hugs her or piles things on top of her.

She's really starting to look like herself and not mini Noa.  In fact, the older she gets, the less I think she resembles her big sister.  What a sweet, beautiful girl!

Finally some Ruthie pics!

But first... No, Noa, you my not have the camera...

Yes, Ruthie is sporting the Miller ear hair.  So glad it doesn't stick around!  Our doctor said it was the most she's ever seen on a baby!  What does that say for us?  I don't know.  Part warewolf?

Hi.  My name is Chubby.  My Momma's chubby.  My Daddy's chubby.  My sister's chubby...

How He Loves Us

A friend sent this link to me the other day. Perhaps this is the new song going around (you know how that happens), but I haven't heard it until today. What an amazing thing to remember. He loves us. Oh how he loves us...

Check out my outfit!

We just couldn't stop laughing at Noa's outfit the other day. She hasn't really tuned in to what she's wearing yet, but for some reason I felt like she was strutting around a little bit more in this one. Look at that belt!!

side note: She's no longer grabbing for the computer from ground level... she's made her way up on the chair several times and even up on the desk today! She also climbed up on the piano keys trying to reach a candle, and was straddling the arm of one of our arm chairs (about to fall and hit her head on the window sill I might add)! Looking forward to the day when she understands the word "dangerous!" :)

Noa talking up a storm

It sounds a little like Japanese. Keeps us entertained all day long!

This is where she got her name!

We put Noa upstairs for a nap at Nanny's house and guess who came down after the nap? Chicken Hair!  Hence Chickies, Chicks, Chicken chicks, etc...

And does this girl look like her daddy or what?

Bath - video trial

So, we're pretty low-tech around here.  Embarrassingly so.  Russ just told me that I could upload videos to YouTube and link them to my blog - so this is my first attempt at doing so.  We'll see if it works!
